My House Tour - Master Bedroom

Hello there friends! I thought I would share another stop on my Home Tour! Today I am sharing my bedroom makeover! My bedroom was the first room that I completed in this new home adventure and was also the room that required the least amount of work! You can see by the before picture that the original hardwood floors were in need of some tlc for sure! They had scratches and stains everywhere! My dad and I decided to refinish the floors ourselves...how hard can it be, right! Well, after days and days of using the rented industrial sander...we called the professionals! It is the best money I have ever spent. I like to think we are pretty handy, my dad and I, but the floors did us in! The stain color I chose was Old American...I think! The pros completed the job in 2 days! The rest of the update was simply installing new baseboards, painting, new ceiling fan, and bringing in the new pieces I had been collecting! I really wanted a neutral color palette with POPS of color...something modern and girly! I love the pink splashed throughout! I hope you enjoy!
